Phishing Scam Uses Fake Docusign Messages

Docusign Fakes Target UMBC And Other Universities

The Division of Information Technology has received notices of a faked Docusign email sent out this week.  The subject line of the fake is:

re:Docusign - Review File - <email address>

The content is something like:

Attention <userid>,

Please DocuSign , - CARES Act.pdf
Newest Regulatons for , PUA , PPP , SBA Listed.

Thank You,
umbc.edu



If you received this message and clicked the link, you would have been taken to a malicious website intended for identity theft and/or malware installation on your computer.

If you went to the website and either downloaded an application or entered your password or other personal information, please let us know by sending email to:
